About Us

RuthAnne is a stay-at-home mother turned single mother of two young boys. She is building a new home with her children and bumping up against their upset and anger and fear. She is divorced and finding her way to a working co-parenting relationship with her ex. She is in a new relationship and wondering how this one will be different. She is struggling with starting her career all over again. She is trying to do it all and feeling overwhelmed by it all!

Before RuthAnne was a mother, she majored in the sciences in college and received advanced degrees in both business administration and elementary education. She was a product manager for a large Chicago-based company for many years and then taught in an elementary classroom for many years. Now, she is struggling with starting her career all over again. She is trying to do it all and feeling overwhelmed by it all! (P.S. She is not as old as she might seem.)

Most of all, she is ready to start living!

Rolf Evenson, the oldest of four children raised by a divorced mother, deeply appreciates the challenges single moms face. Previously divorced, he has been married to the same woman for over 20 years. He and his wife have raised two children (now young adults).

Rolf is the Founder and President of Clear Mind Leadership, a leadership development company that uses an innovative, insight-based approach for fostering successful leadership, positive change, and a healthier, more productive work environment.

He is deeply curious about how life works and intrigued by the mysteries of the human psyche. He is a philosopher, mystic, and adventurer at heart. He  spent 10 years guiding wilderness and climbing expeditions, and holds a Masters in Architecture.

Rolf’s life and work have been profoundly enriched by the work of Sydney Banks and Psychology of Mind, not to mention learning from the “world of hard knocks”, and has been life coaching using these principles for the last 10 years. (P.S. This guy must be really old!)

Most of all, he is ready to coach RuthAnne back to life!
